"It was clean, quiet, and the desk attendant was very accommodating. A lot of sources advertise a pub in the hotel, but it is closed and has been for years. Not much of a negative, but just be aware. There is no card entry into the building. The desk attendant has to buzz you in. "We stayed in a Superior Queen room. The room is cleverly designed where you basically walk into your bathroom/main entrance. The bedroom has a sliding pocket door to close off the bedroom from the main area/bathroom. Unfortunately if your spouse uses the main area/ bathroom while you try to sleep all the lights are turned on disrupting your sleep."

If you are willing to stay at a budget place, with a shared washroom, I'd highly recommend this place because it is so close to Paddington Station, and a quick walk through Hyde Park takes you to some of the major museums and pick-up spots for many of the tours that go out of London.
