I checked in late at night with no problems. The room was cozy, clean, and no bugs. The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet. I was impressed. Some things happened causing me to stay another night and the day clerk Mr. Sunri was very nice and professional in scheduling me into the same room."

"We stayed at Cottage on the Cove the first week of July, 2025. The property was lovely. All the bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds and plenty of room. Everyone had a blast witht he pingpong table, games and swimming. We had a few very hot days, however Tunnel Creek Winery was 13 minutes away, as well as antique shops, and restaurants. Carols Collectibles in Roxboro is a must visit. Walking through her maze of old artifacts many from well known historical figures is mind boggling. if she is not busy she might show you the old movie theatre upstairs. It opened in 1929. Fishing and swimming was pretty good from the dock and from a kayak/paddle board. There is an urgent care within 15 minutes from the house as well as grocery, bait, fast food including mexican, and wineries."
