"Okay for a short stay. Little bit of tlc was needed throughout, otherwise all ok"

"Lots of accommodation option in separate estate cottages attached to the pub"

"We stayed in a four poster bedroom in late October 26. The hotel is a fascinating place (in a good way). Steeped in history but extremely well maintained. The bedroom was superb, luxurious and super clean with a very comfortable bed. We had both evening meal and breakfast at the hotel. Both were exceptional and decent value too. The staff were all professional, polite and friendly. Only minor gripe is the parking. The hotel parking itself is small and tight. Plus you will need to be there...

"The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!"

"The Fischers have provided a beautiful country manor and gardens for the use of guests. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were delicious."

"Lovely stay. Helpful and polite staff. Good food excellent choice. Breakfast amazing. They even give you a packed lunch everyday. Room cosy and clean..will return."

"Very good clean well managed."

"It was a lovely place to stay. We were travelers for the Chatsworth House and stayed here 1 night. Our room was excellent, and the food - for dinner and breakfast (both continental and english) was fantastic!"

"Absolutely beautiful and quaint, similar to what you see in period movies and tv shows. We would definitely stay here again. We recommend suite 1. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Room and en-suite were remodeled recently, keeping the old world charm with updated amenities."

"Perfect in every way."
