"We enjoyed this hotel. We walked to a Mexican restaurant which was right next door. (It was excellent!) The rooms were clean and the breakfast area was nice."

"Entire 5th floor AC turned off. My wife and I got into town late so once checking in we both were excited to get some rest. However, once we got upstairs to our floor it was extremely hot and clammy. In our room specifically our thermostat read 85°. Our AC was completely turned off so we both had to go to bed sweating. I did turn the unit on to 60° and ran it all night. When we woke up this morning the room had only cooled down to 78°."

"Motel was a bit hard to find even with GPS. It's at the far end of a winding commercial street, but there was no sign at the entrance to confirm that this was, in fact, Best Western. Otherwise, amenities and breakfast were fine, but the motel itself could use some renovations. In particular, the small indoor swimming pool was located just off the lobby area -- sort of like swimming in a fish bowl."

"Georgous, but pricey. Would have loved to go to the speakeasy on our first night but it was closed for a private event. Not open during 2nd night. Food in the basic restaurant was OK, but we found more economical options in d-town Roanoke across the bridge on 2nd night."
