Two staff members at the front desk were extremely friendly and accommodating, allowing is to use the pool both before and after check out. This wasn't advertised, so we were glad we asked. Also we were able to check into our room an hour ahead of time . Our room was beautifully appointed and very quiet, even at night. Very pleased!

The hotel Roanoke is the Grand Dame of the Star City. It is a fantastic hotel, with old world charm, that never fails to satisfy. The property overall was amazing but, You have to pay for parking, No breakfast included. The restaraunts inside the hotel were very expensive. The staff was amazing and the room was great though. There's nothing to do nearby in my opinion. I felt very unsafe downtown across the railroad tracks nearby.

It was a really nice hotel. The rooms were clean and it was essentially located to everything. You just walk over a bridge and you’re in the city with lots of restaurants and food to eat. The staff was really really nice as well.

The hotel is a top notch from the moment you park at the front entrance to your departure. The rooms are clean and specious. Everything is modern and in a brand new condition. The front desk, bar and the restaurant are provided excellent service. Valet parking was great too. Highly recommend.

Amazing hotel, clean rooms, the bar was great, and the pool was relaxing. We had an issues with the elevator, but management addressed the concern and even provided a free night in the future due to some circumstances around the incident. Nice to see that this hotel was sorry for I problem and wanted to make it right. Rarely see that anymore with any business. Will definitely return
