Top Rouge National Urban Park Hotel Reviews
Meadowvale Apartment Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Highly recommend anyone traveling through Canada to stay in this Location. The manager/staff were fantastic, good pricing and excellent quality."
"The unit is very clean and impressive. Everything is state of the art, from the fridge to the fancy shower! Very convenient location to our family who lives nearby and we will book again! Our host was also super responsive...a must for anyone who needs a comfortable, clean location for a Pickering stay."
"The worst vacation rental I have ever stayed in. No check-in available was available. Upon contacting one landlord, I was pressured to accept staying at another property, which is a violation of Expedia/Vrbo policy. I declined, and upon entering the property I booked, found that there was no bed, and was once again pressured to accept another property. Upon accepting this new property, it was empty. I had to ask multiple times for proper bedding, after spending four days on a train from Vancouver. Landlords do not appear to understand the difference between a Vacation Rental and a Permanent Rental. I left the property after four days in order to find more suitable accomodation with respectable landlords, my attempts to come to terms with a refund were met with the silent treatment. Shame on the people who operate this slum, and the people that enable them."
Spacious Basement Apt Open Concept wth Separate Entrance No Walls Dividing Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"This stay was located in the suburbs of Pickering. You have a separate entrance and will stay in the basement of the home. The stay includes a lot of amenities such as toiletries and cooking spices/oil. The wifi signal is strong and there's a guest login for some streaming services. This is a perfect stay for a solo traveler or a family of three. The washer/dryer and stove were a little dated but serviceable. I would book again!"
"Very nice layout, large comfortable living and sleeping spaces in a great area. Short drive to all major stores, to the 401 and short walk to paths on Lake Ontario."
"This property was not clean. Upon arrival I had to wash the counter down because there was spaghetti sauce on it. The floor had crumbs so it was uncomfortable walking with no shoes on. The shower I had to clean with dish soap because it was filthy. The shower had body hair all around and the shower curtain was on the verge of molding. We checked out the beds and when we inspection the sheets you could tell they weren’t cleaned because where the previous person’s feet were it was dirty with a accumulation of hair and other particles and this was for both beds so we had to wash the sheets. We spent our first night cleaning so we it was liveable for our time there. The unit was cleaner when we left it than when we got there. "
"The property itself is adorable, decor is really cute! The place was clean and quiet, and while you may hear some of the normal living sounds of the main house, it is still pretty quiet. I was able to relax! The property owners respond quick and are very nice, there was no question they left unanswered for me!"
