"A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10"

"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. "We loved the location and felt very much at home in a comfortable home. Particularly liked the armchair in the window overlooking the reservoir. We were walking 7 “Ethels” in the Dark Peak and all were easily accessible from Martha’s Cottage so ideal for our purposes. Pie Night at the Pickled Pheasant was also a nice discovery!"

Rang the number by the front door, and Kim was there within a minute to give me a tour of the property, and show me how to use the hot tub. The house is massive! The bungalow is easily accessible not too far from the A1 & there are good convenience facilities just off the A1 roundabout less than 4 miles from Austerfield. The bungalow is furnished to a high standard with comfortable sofas & excellent beds & bedding. The location is in a secure park with intriguing deer statues in several places. Well recommended for short or long stays."
