"Very spacious and clean. Nicely decored and homely. Everything you need is there and the host is very good and responsive to queries. The lodge is situated on a nice quiet camp site and has its own single carspace right outside. Basic toiletries (soap and showergel) were provided as were towels and bedding. tea, coffee and sugar were also there and the host provided a small pint of milk and a small pack of biscuits on arrival. Overall great hotel

"I’ve stayed here a couple of times in recent weeks. The location is fantastic. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I’ve had two different rooms - both much larger than your average double room, only difference seemingly between privilege and “standard” rooms being the size of the TV and slightly larger bed. Nice to have both a shower and bath (separate). Very good value for money especially given the access to a proper gym. "

Great location and lovely hotel

"The location was amazing, just a few minutes walk from all the places we wanted to be. The staff were lovely, especially the lady who greeted us when we arrived six hours later than planned due to a change in our travel plans. The hotel was clean, the hot water was almost instant and the room had very well replenished refreshments, including bottles of water. The breakfast was lovely and i was extremely pleased to see a separate area for dietary requirements. All in all, brilliant value. "
