"Lovely stay "

"Convenient near the motorway. Good for overnight stay"

"Staff are great and went out of their way to ask if a couple wanted to swap their twin room for our double. Room was very dusty on windowsill and other surfaces. Milk stains on the furniture that had the tea facilities and generally not well cleaned. Bedding looked like it had been hurriedly thrown on, same with towels. Breakfast was really nice with friendly staff again. "

"My Daughter and I have just had a 2 night stay at the Forest Lodge having traveled up from Kent for a wedding. On arrival we were greeted and immediately were made to feel welcome , nothing was a problem , All the staff were amazing and we would like to say a huge thank you for making our stay so pleasurable . However room was tiny and no view with no blind so that passing people could look in. Public areas rather shabby. Felt it was overpriced for the services received. "

"Great place to stay. Parking for our motorbikes right out side the rooms. Food is amazing. Rooms are very nice with excellent shower ! Outside seating area, great beer and nice staff. Highly reccomended "
