"Really lovely hotel, beautifully decorated and very comfortable rooms and beds with a fantastic, powerful shower. Lots of lovely small touches like fresh milk and cookies in the room. We were on the front facing the road and it was very quiet at night even with the window open, no road noise at all. Very good breakfast and we also had supper there which was delicious, I would go back just to eat there.
Staff were incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. Free entry to Raby Castle and High Force waterfall were included, we went to both and they are so worth a visit.
Overall a brilliant stay, would absolutely go back, it was a real treat to stay at the hotel and fantastic value."
