"Nice and clean with good size rooms and quiet despite being near a busy road. Sainsbury's just a minutes walk and nice close by greek cafe. Town centre is walkable as is Bristol Temple meads station. Would advise a taxi for Hippodrome or Bristol Beacon venues."

"The overall presentation of the hotel was first class and the check in staff were polite and helpful!. Our room was clean and presentable but worth noting was that the mattress was far to hard to get a decent night sleep on!. Breakfast in the morning gave a very varied selection of items to choose from."

"Top notch stay all around. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, and location was central to everything. One piece of advice: we made the mistake of booking spa treatments with Thermae instead of the Gainsborough - we should definitely have booked with the hotel. Their facilities were far superior to Thermae's! Highly recommend!"

"Lovely hotel, convenient location and we got a free upgrade as it was our wedding anniversary which was a lovely touch from the hotel. I asked for a few personal touches to be added to the room as a surprise for my wife and the hotel accommodated this with no issue and even had it in the upgraded room ready. Great service"
