"Checkin was very quick and smooth. Room was dated. Bedside reading lamp didn’t work. Carpet edge was tattered, bathroom baseboards swollen. Bedding a bit tattered and worn. Corners of bathroom floors not very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Kids had a blast at the pool area, although there were no fresh towels there. I had to phone front desk and wait about a hour for some to be brought. Lovely tropical garden decor surrounding pool. Went to the restaurant for supper. Very nice atmosphere and appealing menu. Kid’s menu could use some healthier options. "

"Unfortunately the hot tub was not working. The person at check in told us that it had not been working for a very long time and that it was posted online. I showed them that it was not mentioned on the expedia advertisement, so they were going to let management know. "

"Stayed for a night. Room was nice and big but the hotel and rooms are run down and could use some paint and deep cleaning. Beds were comfy. Staff very friendly. Only issue we came across was the pool area. Very crowded (it was spring break) but staff had hard time controlling the kids. We moved from the waterslide park because of this to the small pool area only to be swarmed once again with kids that were kicked out of the waterslide park. They were throwing hackie sack balls around at high rate of speed and without regard if they hit someone. Not happy at that point as we could not enjoy playing with granddaughter in a safe place. Due to this issue I immediately canceled my return night stay later in the week and booked with another hotel. "

"The Hotel had big comfortable rooms with big bathrooms and really comfy beds and superior air conditioning. Only negative was every staff member's first language was not Canadian. Had trouble understanding staff. Would love to see more diversity to include Canadian nationals. The menu also was pretty fatty and not interesting."

"You can tell this property is well managed and cared for. Little things like having a staff member attend the waterslide for safety are appreciated. Room was as expected, clean. Breakfast was pretty standard continental, honestly could have a bit more variety (no berries for the waffles for example) but that’s nitpicking. It’s a good hotel, and I’d stay there again."

"The room was very clean were you could see but I had to go behind the bed to plug in my phone and it hadn't been looked at for a long time back there. Hotel is dated but there were some upgrades to the rooms and the hotel portion. There were also things like the window didn't close all the way and the screen was ripped but neither of those hampered our stay. It does have a bar attached and between 2:30 (when bar closed) and about 3:30-4am there was a bunch of people yelling and screaming in the parking lot. Sounded like a good party but I was too tired to join. The bed was very comfy and we did have a great sleep minus the time that the party was going on outside. The shower was upgraded and it was fantastic. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with them. The only thing that made me pause is they only had one key for the room so made me wonder where the other one was. Old style key not a card. For the price if I'm through and need a place to stay I would stay again. I'm certain weekdays doesn't have the animal activity outside after the bar closes. We stayed on a Saturday night. No elevator to the second floor but room was fairly big and lots of space to move around and put things down."
