"A one night stay for us, before catching an early flight from Southend Airport, lovely attentive staff throughout the hotel. We dined in the restaurant which has great views over the airport, the food was equally great. A veey pleasurable but short stay."

"Hotel well positioned on sea front, good choice of food and well stocked bar. All staff were excellent. Room a reasonable size with good size bathroom. Only one detraction was the room was oh so hot! Admittedly it was an etremely hot couple of days."

The accommodation, in the modernised stable block, is perfect for a comfortable stay, and both our evening meal and breakfast were of the highest quality. Strongly recommended."
