"The staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great value for money and nothing was too much trouble. Only issue we had was that the window wouldn't stay open and because it was very warm in the room we had to place a drawer in position to wedge the window open a little to get some air into the room, but otherwise it was clean a great pit stop for what we wanted."

"The pub’s location is in a lovely rural location. Our room, ‘Old Bob’, with ensuite, was lovely, big and very clean. The room was very quiet and the bed and pillows were comfortable for a good nights sleep. We enjoyed our breakfast and we’d definitely stay again if the opportunity arose."

"The four rooms situated around a central courtyard contain an oldy worldy charm but with modern touches and have everything you could need for a stay away. Extra touches like the largest fluffiest towels you could want, lovely smelling shower washes, a high magnification mirror and a hairdryer with a diffuser attachment were very welcome. All of this topped off with a tasty cooked English breakfast and drinks in the morning. The service is second to none, staff are extremely friendly, helpful...

"House was perfect, very clean and everything you needed for two of us and our dog with a fully enclosed garden. Lots to do in the immediate area and a lovely trip out to Canterbury. The only downside would be parking, although if you drive around you should be able to find roadside parking,and the pub opposite being noisy, especially if you have children trying to sleep, but this does ease by 11ish, but the house and location is definitely worth a visit."
