"I had a really great stay at the Bull Inn which is located in a lovely quiet village surrounded by the countryside. My room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable, and because it’s so peaceful, I had a fabulous nights sleep. Beats noisy large chain hotels any day!!! Lots of tea / coffee with biscuits provided which was nice as I’ve been to many hotels recently where you get minimal items. Lots of free parking and directly outside your own room which was brilliant for carrying suitcases etc out of your car. Leo the owner is absolutely lovely and really cares about his guests, and gives you the most amazing welcome. A really lovely gentleman. I stayed mid week and there was a pop up kitchen of Mexican food (different pop ups each week) which was gorgeous and I was able to sit on the small patio outside my room in the sunshine.. just so lovely. I would definitely come back to stay at The Bulls Inn if I were in the area again as I felt so comfortable and safe there. "

"Stayed last night 24th May on a weekend away trip. I've stayed before with work but this time it was with my partner and once again they didn't let us down Fantastic place to stay an the staff are amazing . The two or three front of house staff were kept on they're toes as the restaurant was very busy , however nothing was too much trouble for them, .... Fantastic . The hotel itself is just lovely . It's in an ideal position , light , airy and just a lovely place in general . Breakfast this morning was superb and again, nothing was too much trouble . Superb place , friendly staff and good management 👍"

"We received a very warm welcome and an upgrade as it was our wedding anniversary. Lovely large room which was very comfortable and extremely clean. Swimming pool was a bonus. The restaurant is very good. The staff are all fantastic. I would recommend this hotel. "

"It was all wonderful right from the check-in, the staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a well lit and very tastefully decorated and sizeable room, with comfortable beds, two small armchairs and a coffee table. The bathroom was well appointed with a bath and a large shower head. There were some nice extra touches as well, a small bottle of milk on arrival and later in the stay, plus bottled water, plenty of teabags etc. The food at breakfast was very nice too. The situation is marvellous, a short walk to the High Street and the Wetherspoons and other pubs/restaurants. Stamford is a lovely town with a great atmosphere and a park very near the centre. Burghley House is a short drive or a walk of just a few miles if you are a lot younger than us! We didn't get to Rutland Water, but we will go next time - because we definitely want to go back. All in all a brilliant break, hopefully to be repeated a few times at least. "
