Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District by IHG

"My adult daughter and I enjoyed our four day hotel stay and Hotel Indigo. For the price, it’s the best you can get. We opted for the breakfast add-on, and enjoyed great breakfast options each day before our tours and shopping around Savannah. The restaurant in the Hotel has amazing options and the Chef is great. The staff, in general, are kind, helpful and welcoming. E usually went to breakfast, came back to the room to shower and get ready, would do a half day around Riverstreet or City Market, or ride the trolley, and come back to our room with either our lunch leftovers or our shopping bags before going out again. Because we would come back mid day, somehow we kept being in the room when housekeeping would be scheduled, and then they wouldn’t come into our room until we asked for new towels or for our garbage to be taken out. They were always kind though when we asked them for those things. The hotel is not a great option for families with kids, not having a pool or many kid friendly food options at the restaurant. Also would like the TVs to have the capabilities for streaming options, rather than just the cable channels. Overall an affordable choice, friendly staff and a wonderful restaurant/ bar in the building."

"Room was very clean, staff were awesome! When the ice machine broke down, maintenance repaired quickly! The bar was pricey. The conditioner would not come out of the bottle. I would definitely recommend to others!"

"Check in was great, staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was outstanding: roomy, comfortable and with everything you need or want. Bathroom was very large, clean nice. Dual sinks, huge shower, very nice. Amenities were outstanding. I highly recommend the Perry Lane. There’s a rooftop bar and swimming pool that we never used that looked very nice. Location is great. Bed was extremely comfortable. Definitely a great choice for a visit to Savannah."

"We were in town for a quick getaway last week. Location was perfect - right in the Historic District and walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. Staff was lovely and accommodating. They stored my bag prior to check-in time, and after check-out time. due to our flight arrival/departure times. Room was clean and AC worked - no complaints. Would stay again!"

"This hotel is in a great downtown location however, there is only valet parking and the circle drive entrance is not big enough to accommodate a truck. Can be an issue for unloading luggage. The hotel it's self is beautiful. It has been recently renovated and is very quiet. We ate breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and the food was really good!!! The room was a an odd shape but nice and large. The bed was comfortable and the room had great amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Just be aware of the valet parking requirement and the issue with space if you drive a truck."

"The hotel was great; very clean, nice amenities, easy check in, and friendly staff. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had everything I needed for my work trip. The proximity to the conference center, shopping, dining, and sightseeing was great. I had one negative issue, and unfortunately, it was a significant enough to prevent my return. The hotel has posted quiet hours beginning at 10pm. However, the bar serves until midnight. The first night wasn't terrible, just the occasional loud bursts of laughter or raised voices. For the remainder of my stay, the bar played football games until last call. The noise of the game and the loud patrons echoed throughout the atrium, (which all balconies overlook) and could be clearly heard in my room. When I called the desk to inquire about why the noise was permitted to continue beyond the quiet hour, I was informed that there was nothing that could be done, as long as the bar was open. The man was very kind and polite, but it was clear that the concern was out of his hands. Needless to say, I did not sleep well and was exhausted by the end of my trip. Traveler beware - quiet hour may begin much later than advertised."
