"We had a wonderful time staying at the Caruso, A Belmond Hotel in Ravello. We were greeted by friendly and warmhearted staffs. We got free upgrade to a suite with balcony viewing of the sea and surrounded with purple wisterias. The suite was spacious and prepared the welcoming champagne and fresh fruits. The hotel had stunning views every corner and the service was impeccable. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the complementary sunset boating tour due to the weather. "

"Lovely historic property with a terrific staff, great breakfast (included) and a great bar overlooking the coast. Ravello is beautiful and quieter than the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Our room (especially the floor) could have been cleaner and the AC does not work well. Very comfortable room. Cabs are VERY expensive and the drive is long to get anywhere outside of Ravello. Lots to see in Ravello though."

"We took the bus from Amalfi up to Ravello/the last bus stop on the route and it was about a 10-minute (albeit uphill) walk from the bus stop to the hotel. Upon arrival, the man at the front desk was extremely welcoming throughout the entire check-in process. We noticed an ants problem in our original room but immediately got moved to another room once we notified the front desk. "This was a little peace of paradise on earth. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. The only possible negative is that this b&b is hard to get to. It’s in the middle of the mountain with no vehicle access so you have to walk either up or down 80+ stairs (depending on where you are dropped off). So pack lightly! That 50+ lb bag feels much heavier when being lugged up what feels like a million steps, none of which are uniform. It’s great if you are fit and have a small bag."
