Enjoyed the mountain top views of Sorrento and Vesuvius. Staff was really helpful, shout out to Tony in the restaurant! Really enjoyed our relaxation days there and they offered an easy day trip to the Amalfi coast at a low cost.

After rushing around on a tour of Italy, we arrived at this hotel feeling tired. The stunning views, pool, and friendly staff were very welcome. There is a shuttle bus every hour to get to Sorrento city centre. We had a balcony with views over the Bay of Napoli. We were sad to leave.

The serene, quiet location of the hotel offered breathtaking vistas that made our stay even more memorable. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcomed, showcasing a level of hospitality that went above and beyond. A special mention must be given to their thoughtful assistance in arranging for a forgotten pack of clothes to be sent back to our home in the USA—they handled this with remarkable efficiency and care. In summary, La Vue D’Or combines amazing views, a peaceful setting, and outstanding service. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento.

Hotel is very old, but has an old charm to it. Hotel has a nice shuttle service, however, without this, the location is really not ideal for tourists. Pool is freezing cold, views are great.

Lovely hotel with beautiful views! Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent with plenty of food choices, bedroom and hotel areas very clean, shuttle service on the hour was very handy if you didn’t want to take the car or walk in to Sorrento. Is there only one thing that I have to mark it down, is not having a way to make a coffee or tea in the bedroom as we arrived from a long day travelling the bar was shutting at 00:00 and restaurant obviously shut at least being able to make a hot drink in the room would have been nice

My sister and I enjoyed our stay. The staff is incredibly accommodating, friendly and helpful. There are some areas that could use some attention - tissues and wash cloths should be provided, bed comforters should be better laundered, cob webs in the corners of the room, dining room lighting should be dimmed at night... These are very simple things to improve upon that would definitely enhance your guests experience. Overall, this is a very nice affordable hotel with amazing views and LOVE the free shuttle transportation to Sorrento. Grazie for an unforgettable visit!!!
