The property was close to the main square and surrounded by restaurants and shops. You didn't have to go far to find what was needed. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay

Melhor hotel de Ravello!

Foi maravilhoso! A comunicação foi um pouco difícil devido ao meu mau inglês e zero italiano, mas todos estavam sempre dispostos a nos ajudar, e disponíveis o tempo todo. O café da manhã é uma delicia! E o Afonso é com certeza o melhor funcionário do hotel. Fez nossa estadia ser impecável!

Hotel maravilhoso em Ravello. Chegamos e fomos recepcionados por um senhor extremamente amável e simpático, o que já nos causou uma ótima impressão. Quarto amplo e confortável, com um terraço com uma vista lindíssima, tudo limpo e impecável. Café da manhã muito gostoso, pessoal simpático e os itens servidos são de qualidade. No coração de Ravello, a um passo da Catedral. Recomendadíssimo. Estão de parabéns.

Great Location, Treatment like a family

We arrived to Hotel late time and owners were waiting for us. Hotel located less than 1 min walking distance to the Central Square, Villa Ruffolo, all restaurants, Bus stop, taxi stop . Small family runs hotel and they treat you like a family members. Good Breakfast, clean rooms and all other services just great

Small boutique hotel directly in the middle of Ravello. The staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good. Very good value for the price and very safe area. I highly recommend and I would stay there again.

A real gem in the heart of classy Ravello

The Hotel Toro is just lovely - location could not be bettered, being in the heart of Ravello, tucked away down a little side street. You do have to walk to it, can't be dropped off outside and there are quite a few steps up from the street to the first floor entrance, so not suitable for the less mobile. However if you can do steps it is a lovely little place, it is old fashioned, but charming. It seems family run and everyone is very friendly. My room was Number 2, a single and has the most fantastic view. It is spotlessly clean and the shower is powerful with plenty of hot water. The bed was firm, pillows and linen clean and fresh. There is air conditioning too, which is unusual for a small place and the TV had English news channels. Breakfast was standard continental, with freshly made pastries, yoghurts, cereals, fruit, juice, toast and cold cuts, buffet-style and bacon and eggs were on offer if anyone wanted a cooked breakfast. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget friendly hotel in this classy resort, it was a wonderful stay!

Nice Value for money hotel.

The hotel is a hidden gem for its cost vs location. It is not a modern hotel by any means and runs like an “old fashioned “ hotel but it is clean and has all we required for a one night stay in the town. It is right in the centre within the old town amongst all there is to see. The room was simple but had all we needed and breakfast is a basic buffet style with limited choice but was enough to get us going the next day. The staff were helpful when we needed them, especially the lady on reception. My only real issue was the lack of information on parking our car on their site or even on hotels.com. It turns out you need to drive to the coach/taxi area near the tunnel of the old town and walk to the hotel so they then will arrange for someone to “valet “ park your car for you at €20 for the night, paid to the parking company on leaving. Although this worked well it needs to be advised more rather than us having to email and dig around for info. If we returned to Ravello then we would definitely be happy to use this hotel again.

Perfect location and fitting for the local area

Simple but beautiful small, traditional feeling hotel within 1 minute of the main square in Ravello. Very friendly staff, clean and spacious room and excellent location. Great value and would stay there again should we visit Ravello in the future.

Rummet var inte det som lovades

Vi hade bokat ett dubbelrum med balkong på hotell Toro i Ravello. I bokningsbekräftelsen stod det att rummet hade balkong, men när vi kom fram visade det sig att rummet vi fått saknade balkong. Vi tittade igen på Hotel.com och där fanns endast dubbelrum med balkong tillgängliga som rumsval for detta hotell. Vi påtalade för hotellpersonalen att vi hade bokat ett rum med balkong, och han svarade att endast ett av 11 rum på hotellet hade balkong, och det rummet var redan uthyrt. Han sa att vi borde vara nöjda iom att vi hade ett fönster (vilket jag tycker hör till minimikravet, och dessutom saknade utsikt och vette mot hotellingången), och för att vi “ändå hade betalat mindre än normalt” (på grund av att vi bokat rummet via Hotels.com). Jag tycker inte att man ska få ett sämre rum om man bokar till ett bra pris via en bokningssida, eller att de ca 10 EUR vi sparade via Hotels.com-bokningen kompenserade för ett rum utan balkong. Vi fick ingen förklaring eller kompensation från hotellet, trots att Hotels.com ringde dem två gånger efter att vi kontaktat Hotels.com om problemet. Tyvärr påverkade denna händelse oss så negativt att vi inte riktigt kunde uppskatta vår vistelse i Ravello.
