I went to T&T Tavern in Rantoul on a Saturday night. After 8:00 there was live music. I only planned to go for a bite to eat but I closed the place down. It was a fun time and hung out with some great people.

Rantoul is a convenient place to stay when the hotels are packed in Champaign-Urbana. Rantoul also hosts lots of baseball (softball?) tournaments.

Excellent
Small town feeling. Locals were very friendly. We went bowling. The bowling was outdated but the kids loved it. Great local restaurants. Kids love Vans the best.
"This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The room was elegant, comfortable, and attractive. I didn’t want to leave!
The staff was professional and helpful.
Also, as a late sleeper, I really appreciated the 1:00 check out time.
All for a very reasonable price (This may be due to the university being out of session.)
Wish I had more reasons to stay in Champaign. "

"My group stayed here for a baseball tournament (Th-Sun). Even though the neighbors aren’t as diligent at the upkeep of their properties, this property was well maintained and nicely equipped for all our needs. The gas range was a bonus and we cooked all our meals at the property. Everything was clean and tidy and we were happy to have a washer and a dryer with Tide detergent and Bounce sheets available for use. The property owner was very responsive when I messaged. We were 8min from the fields which was nice too. "
