"A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour."

"we had a warm welcome from the owners before we even got the car on the drive the accommodation is spotless and all the equipment is like new we could not have been more happy. You get milk bread butter and a bottle of wine the essentials!! We had very happy stay and we would recommend to any one wishing to stay in the isle of man"

"Very overpriced. We were traveling with a group of 7 so we booked 2 exact apartments in the same building. Vrbo charged me more than our friends paid. They booked through Expedia. I will never use Vrbo again. The owner then charged me more money when we arrived, after the final online payment was made. He stated we didn’t pay for enough people, The apt sleep 7 we had 3 ppl in ours. Explain that? Pictures online were from another much nicer location (catfished). Very unclean. Cheap furniture...

"Overall a very nice house to stay in, although a lot of stairs. Everything worked as it should but the downstairs loung seemed cold with no apparent means of warming it up other than the log burner. The TV in that lounge is placed quite high on the wall leading to a spot on neck ache. The TV in the to bedroom has a remote control that I didnt manage figure out in the five days we were there. "Guests are very well catered for. Great facilities, very clean, super friendly staff. Breakfast delicious. Note, restaurant/room service not always available if the restaurant is quiet and closes early, however staff still go above and beyond to ensure you can get something to eat e.g. sandwich. Generous complimentary mini-fridge. Comfortable bed with very good quality bedding. Very important, so worth repeating that it's very clean, the housekeeping team do a great job. Parking a bit of a pain but the multi story car park is less than 5 mins walk. We'll be back."
