"We had a wonderful stay at the Hellman House. The home was much bigger than I expected which was fanatic for our young family. Rec 1 is literally steps away from the house. A quick trip to the park, beach, or pickle ball courts is no problem. The HOA keeps the neighborhood in great shape and it was a relief to relax at the beach. The HOA rakes the beach in the morning and they wipe the dew off the picnic tables in the morning, wow! We were centrally located for trips to Burney Falls and Lassen. We rented a jet ski at Knotty Pine and switched out riders at Rec 1. We enjoyed local food at Îl Lago and Timber Lodge Tavern. The owner was very quick to answer my questions and handle a few hiccups at the property. I’m not sure what’s going on with the HOA gate codes, but it seems like there’s a new separate system for renters. We never got it figured out, but security was very helpful. We plan to return!"
