It was in a peaceful area and the staff were always on hand to answer any questions and offer refreshments. "This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

"The hiking above Mii Dera temple was amazing. A lot of hiking options for outdoor enthusiasts. The Mii Dera temple is also not crowded and a joy to stroll around 20 minutes walk from hotel koo. "
