"We loved Boxotel!!! Will definitely be back the next time we stay in Montreal. The rooftop spa was a big plus in booking and a large part of our enjoyable stay. We also loved the small but mighty gym and the healthy free light breakfast every morning. We were in walking distance to every thing we wanted to do and felt very safe. We did opt to park in an indoor parking lot around the corner on rue sanguine instead of the public lot across the street after talking to some locals about car windows being smashed in the public lots or on the street parking. But again we felt very safe and everyone was extremely friendly. "

"My first visit. I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and comfortable my king bed room was. Large bathroom by Montreal standards. The hotel is a block from the Berri-UQAM station so travelers can easily take the 747 bus to and from the airport and be one block walk to the hotel. Heading north on St. Denis street you encounter several blocks of excellent moderately priced restaurants with many cuisines represented. This is a college neighborhood and seems very safe. I am returning here in August as this will be a regular place I will stay when I visit Montreal. "
