"A wonderful gite in the most stunning countryside - beautiful views, wonderful wine and history all around with the Cathar castles and Carcassonne all close by. We had a wonderful week and wish we could have stayed in our tranquil little hideaway for ever. The gite was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped, we didn't want for anything. Annie-Claude was a wonderful hostess and was extremely helpful to us. When Willilam is older it would be great to bring him back to run around the hills..."

"House was beautifully well equipped, immaculately clean and tidy. It’s in an excellent location only 15 minutes from Carcassonne but with absolute peace and quiet. Local pool in the Village was great in the heat. The local butcher carries bread, pastries, preserves and lovely wine, not forgetting meat. Laurence was wonderful with ideas of where to visit, and was available for anything we needed but otherwise very discreet."

"Der Aufenthalt litt unter Dauerregen, wofür die Gastgeber natürlich nichts konnten. Nur dafür ist das Appartment zu klein und unkomfortabel eingerichtet, das Terrassendach undicht und die Terrasse somt nicht nutzbar, die Sitzgelegenheiten unbequem und zum Trocknen der Sachen keine Hängemöglichkeiten. Die Küche auch nur äußerst sparsam bestückt. Ansonsten toller Garten, alles sauber, herrliche Vorgebirgslandschaft. Bei Sonnenschein sicher alles etwas positiver."

"The house is beautiful and very much lives up to expectations. I do not know exactly how old it is, but every beam and wall whispers history. Extremely comfortable with all the things you could possibly want provided. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the locations is quiet, but accessible to shops, attractions and main roads. "We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...

"We stayed 11 nights at the gite. Great for exploring the area around Carcassonne, Albi, Narbonne, etc. Beautiful surroundings, extremely quiet (a must for me) with a nice pool and friendly horses who will occasionally visit you over the fence (carrots are appreciated). The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. The nearest grocery store is about 20 mn away so you do need to plan a bit."

"I wanted something different than the ordinary. I was struck by the photos and descriptions. Even though a wide angle lens was used, but I knew that. The house was nicely furnished with virtually all one could need in the kitchen. My sister and I are both over 70 and the stairs were a bit challenging as they were steep. The WC is on the bottom floor only so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. But that is very clear in the information. Our hostess was very kind and available!!...
