"LOCATION: Great location in downtown. Centrally located to walk to restaurants and many of the main sites. You can walk up to Signal Hill from this location. HOTEL: Breakfast is a continental. No gym. ROOM: Clean, spacious and with a mini fridge and coffee maker. Easy self parking at the rear of the building STAFF: They were nice. The room we had on the back of the building facing Harbour drive was a little noisy as I think the insulation and windows may lack sound proofing."

All the basics I needed were included in the standard features provided by the Inn: reliable wifi, spacious desk, comfortable desk chair, comfortable queen bed, refrigerator, stove, microwave, table & chairs, Keurig coffee-maker & coffee, spacious shower & bathroom, privacy, quiet, and so on. "My husband and I have a Wonderful Vacation last minute trip to Newfoundland. We purchased everything through Expedia, which included the flights, car and 3 nights at the Monastery Hotel with breakfast for all 3 mornings. We loved everything so much that we made another reservation here for our last night in Newfoundland before we headed back home. This hotel is located very close to the St. John's Airport. We, also, especially liked the staff in the hotel and at the Bistro. Both of the rooms size(s) were nice and large, and included a refrigerator. For the first 3 nights we had a Double Queen and for the last night of the week we had a King room. This hotel even had a passageway to the building where the Bistro and the Spa are located next door. We would recommend the Monastery Hotel, Spa and Bistro to everyone travelling to St. John's Newfoundland. Very close and within a short driving distance to George Street's night life and other locations such as Signal Hill, the Rooms Museum, Quidi Vidi and Gatherall's for a wonderful Whale Watching experience."
