"Charlene was very accommodating when we had a very late check in due to flight delays. The furnishings are comfortable and the area is so quiet and peaceful. My kids enjoyed the outdoor games and children’s play equipment. I loved the sun pouring in through the front window! A good location if you’re willing to drive and see puffins in Elliston, an hour and a half drive away. Totally worth it! "

"The main objective of our 15 day trip to Newfoundland was to see icebergs, puffins and several coastal villages. But we also wanted at least one night inland. Back Country Cottages fit that perfectly. A full 30 km inland on old logging roads and trails off the highway, to the cabin at a 12 km long “pond”.
