"Great breakfast, room and parts of hotel a little dated."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Alverton. The room by the courtyard was very nice, and the bed super comfortable. Nice and quiet as well. The one thing that was a bit disappointing was the breakfast - we had decided to stick with the continental option, the buffet was limited, the toast we had ordered never arrived, and my mum’s gluten free toast got there only just before we left, more than half an hour in. "Close to Trebha gardens and stop at Maen Smith village pub on way back to hotel."

"Lovely hotel in excellent location, room was very comfortable, spacious with a newly refurbed bathroom. Lounge area served great food with a lovely atmosphere. Spa was fantastic although feel that as a hotel guest it should be at a reduced rate. Staff were all very friendly, breakfast a great selection. The only negative was we could hear next doors television late into the evening. Would definitely stay again."

"Good location, complimentary sundae for kids."

"Great location"

"A bit tired. Could do with a good scrub and a coat of paint. Room ok. We only stayed a couple of nights. I would not have wanted to be there for a week. Pool and sauna very good. Shower by sauna very good. Hot tub and flooring near pool seemed like it could be cleaner. Breakfast buffet ok but much better ordering off the menu. Food in the restaurant for the evening meal was good. All staff were very good!"

"Very nice rooms, good breakfast"

"Lovely friendly Hotel. Great location, clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Particularly comfortable bed, very nice breakfast too."

"Breakfast options were plentiful and diverse. Nice bathroom facilities and a nice big bed with sufficient blankets and duvets. Location was a bit removed from harbour area but that meant it was quiet at night."

"It was as nice as our memory of our first stay, when the sun shines there is only one place to be - on the terrace. Having said that it is very comfortable to be inside. It is a very friendly place to be to enjoy Cornwall."
