"the room was very comfortable had everything you could ever need. Jan and mark welcomed us into their home for breakfast every day very patient as we were late risers. They went way beyond normal hospitality drove us to the beginning of the water meadow walk in Salisbury and wrote out the. route for a drive through the new forest. "Great location and rooms very clean. Bed a bit hard for me but my husband liked it. Only criticism was the shower as the pressure was not good and took ages to heat up."

"We loved staying in this 13th century inn. We were given a room in the original section of the inn - amazing wattle and daub walls, original timber work and wonky floors! The River Avon flows past the front of the Rose and Crown property. A beautiful settling and a privilege to be able to stay here! If you love history, this is the place to stay in Salisbury."

"Pleasant spot within easy access to all site. Great breakfast. Nice pub restaurant."
