"Amazing apartments … modern., clean, central location. Great facilities.. parking was fine .. I would recommend parking in the medium stay car by the car park which is free after 4pm and then at 8.30 am you can pay 5.90 for whole day and then free again after 4 and on Sundays. I will definitely be going back! "

"Ann and Colin were perfect hosts. So warm and friendly and even left a welcome basket full of thoughtful treats. Flat is so much better than the pictures portray. Spacious and equipped with everything you need for a stay in the area. Highly recommend. Very convenient for all the new forest walks. The grounds are delightful and the garden is stunning. Nice little area to sit and enjoy the sun. Although the flat is joined to the flat we felt we had privacy. Thanks again for a lovely stay....

"My partner and I spent a few days at Carol's beautiful home. She has created such a wonderful place to stay. We particularly loved the effort Carol has put into helping guests get out and explore the stunning local area with even small laminated cards with walking suggestions! "We found Riverside Lodge delightful, inside and out. Very peaceful and a pretty setting, with constant birdsong, visiting ducks, scampering squirrels, wandering deer and an evening flyby from a kingfisher. We went out less than we normally would because it was a treat to be lazy there, especially as we’d splashed out on the hot tub. "Very clean & well presented. The weather was very cold for time of year & the flat was chilly. It would have been nice to have been able to turn heating on or have a background heater. "The initial booking was a torturous affair on “Vrbo. The most objectional thing is I was required to give my passport details to “Superhog”, (required by the owners). I am very uncomfortable about that as for all I know, it has been cloned and is now in circulation somewhere in the world. At first, we were unable to locate the correct key safe as video sent to us demonstrated the key being retrieved from a different model. We finally retrieved the keys. As it was raining, we were rather wet....
