The day we were to arrive we got a message from the hotel to say that they were undergoing renovations and they would refund us for our breakfast charges and give us a free to-go breakfast one day. Annoying as we have a very picky eater and the buffet is a main reason we booked Premier Inn. "Wanted an early breakfast and was told we could have takeout breakfast reception gave us a form to fill in and basically we all wanted 2 x bacon sausage baps we were then told we could either have 1 bacon or 1 sausage bap not 2 and we couldn’t have bacon and sausage one or the other ? Bearing in mind it’s a buffet breakfast and help yourself to as much as you want we didn’t think it was too much to ask for 2 baps each but the staff were adamant that was the rules It makes you wonder why the country is in such a mess Apart from that great stay would recommend"
