"Great place to stay the night before our Seal Sanctuary Experience around the corner in Gweek. Lovely clean and bright bedroom. Delicious evening meal in the pub. Also very tasty breakfast in the morning, very friendly lady served us and was very flexible about the time we needed to have our breakfast. "

"We loved the room that we stayed in. It was recently decorated in greys and pastel pinks. The room felt spacious and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was large with a separate bath and shower. The full English breakfast was cooked to order and as you would expect but I would have liked the option of fruit or rolls or pastries. The owner was courteous and friendly. "Friendly pub owner and operators, as well as local crowd made the experience enjoyable. Room was clean and contained necessities. Nothing fancy, and could do with a little updating, but all was fine. I didn't order food, but the owner offered to make a sandwich, even though it was after serving hours. I think listing said there was parking on site. It's actually street parking, which isn't guaranteed. "

"Roz and Keith are wonderful hosts. They even gave me change for the launderette! This location siuted me perfectly as I was using public transportation. For me the bed was pretty soft but that is definitely a personal preference. This is a great place to travel from or just use the many beaches."

"Sarah, the owner, gave fantastic service and made great efforts to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for Lusty Glaze beach (or Newquay beach/town centre), the breakfast was reasonably priced as an extra, and parking was free. The room was basic and a little tired, but given the positives it was good value for money. Wouldn’t have stayed if planning to spend lots of time in the room, but was a great base to explore."

"Perfect Location, just minutes walk to the beach and nice play park for the kids. Close to plenty of places to eat. Beach is beautiful. Views from the house is stunning. The cooker, decking and downstairs ensuite shower need some tlc but that didn’t effect usage or us having a fantastic time. Will definitely be coming back!"
