"Lovely house in a great location. Peaceful and relaxing with plenty of space. Garden and covered hot tub are a great added feature. Kitchen is a good size and well equipped featuring a range cooker that made it easy to serve 7. The dining area is perfect for a group with 2 large tables. The house is cosy and warm. The beds and sofas could do with being replaced and some added TLC around the property for a more premium experience and the showers don’t have the greatest of pressure. All in all for...

"The property was great for my family of 4. Walkable to all abersoch has to offer. Our only issue was the unseasonably hot weather for which the house is not prepared. The upstairs really cooks. It’s hard to mark down the quality of the accommodations but, given the increasing frequency and magnitude of hot days, it would have helped to have a couple of fans on hand. "

The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "It’s a well equipped apartment in a good area. The floor was not clean, and the property is in need of some maintenance. The mattresses are very springy and uncomfortable. The upstairs toilet doesn’t flush very well and leaves a bad drainage smell after use. The road noise spoils the view from the balcony and the close proximity to the train station, which serves stabling trains, early morning and late evening with engines running should be mentioned."
