Top Porth Gro Hotel Reviews
Ty Cwyfan: 3‑Bed Ground-Floor Apartment in Aberffraw | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings
10/10 Excellent
"The apartment and location are brilliant. Beds are a bit uncomfortable because they are so hard. The sofas smelt of dog after a few days which was a bit off putting, otherwise this is a great place to stay and we love Aberffraw."
Bwthyn Branwen: Accessible Pet-Friendly Cottage in Aberffraw | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings
10/10 Excellent
"Couldn’t fault a thing except for the fact I am a disabled ambulatory person and sadly the downstairs bathroom was advertised as disabled, which it wasn’t. The cottage itself was heavenly in a lovely location in Anglesey but sadly we couldn’t return as the facilities were not there for my needs. I spoke to a lovely member of staff on the first day explaining my situation we agreed the wet room was indeed beautiful as the rest of the property, I explained my need for a transfer seat in the shower, bless her she did her best but came back and said sadly there was nothing available. Therefore my husband had to assist and we had to make do without a shower for the week for me as it was just too difficult without the adequate rails and seat. However we have to say apart from that we had a great time, the welcome package was a lovely touch, excellent value for money, impeccably clean and well kept and such a lovely spot in the village. We would have no hesitation in booking with this company again, but we would certainly phone to clarify my needs to suit a property in more detail in the future as the website to the reality was a lesson learned."
3 Glantraeth Farm Cottage. Pet friendly, ideal base to explore Anglesey.
10/10 Excellent
"excellent property that far exceeded our expectations, beautifully clean with everything we needed and more. can not compliment Ann or the cottage enough, would highly recommend, can't wait to return"
4 Glantraeth Farm Cottage. Ideal base to explore the Isle of Anglesey....
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely little cottage in the most scenic of settings providing access to anglesey. Basic but with all you need as a base. Host was very communicative and it was excellent value in the school holidays. We had an amazing time and would return. Was lovely to wake up to views of snowdonia"
Melin Y Bont - a dog that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
10/10 Excellent
"The windmill is a wonderful place to stay! Its location is a 3 minute drive to a local shop, and 5 minutes to a beach. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, only broken by the RAF jets chorus from around 8am until about 5.30, which I loved anyway. The beds were changed but the property wasn’t fully checked, the fridge & all crockery were filthy from the previous tenants, and food was left in the freezer (not the end of the world). Please note that the cleaning journal where you leave reviews has many pages ripped out…..Bring anti-slip shoes for the stairs, and ensure the fittest are in the top room, as even for me it was tiring - you cannot carry luggage upstairs so unload downstairs and carry clothes etc up instead. The internet wasn’t great, so keep in mind to pre-load programmes onto pads for children, also the kids channels aren’t accessible on the tv in the front room either. The decking around the base of the windmill is in a dangerous state sadly (I work in construction and civil engineering) with broken boards, chunks missing and exposed nails and screws - this needs addressing immediately! Replace with composite and it’ll hold its colour and last 30 years. If you visit PLEASE don’t let children or anyone over 12 stone walk around the decking, it is a huge drop below and I’m not exaggerating when I say it is THAT dangerous. The windmill has a nice plot of land to the front which is ideal for children to play, just remember there is a watercourse to the rear."
Large Detached Property Walking Distance To The Beach | Llywelyn-Fawr
10/10 Excellent
"This house is wonderful! It is large with lots of room and everything you could need. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. We really enjoyed walking into the town and eating at the cafe and having a drink at the pub. The people were very friendly and welcoming!"
Ty Capel Bach: 3‑Bed Bungalow Sleeping 6 in Hermon | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings
10/10 Excellent
"This was the second time we had stayed at Ty Capel Bach (the first being in June 2025). The property is comfortable and well equiped and in a great location as far as we are concerned. The only issue we had this time around related to the new central heating system and had to get housekeeping/maintenance services to pop round to try to rectify. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here again."
Bwthyn Gwenllyr - sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
10/10 Excellent
"The property was excellent, better than my expectations. Layout of the house is perfect for families and friends. Fully equipped with everything needed, including the kitchen, with all utensils provided in duplicate. We had excellent weather on the second day, but the house was comfortable even in the blustery cold night that followed. Only negative, as mentioned by another poster here, is the electric shower in the master bathroom. "
Cae Coch - a dog that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful weeks stay in this gorgeous house. Everything was perfect for us and the garden was what sold for us with our dog, it was large enough and secure for her to have a play and do her business! It was super clean, comfortable and spacious! Close to the beach with only being a short drive away which is what we loved! The only down side is that a week just wasn't long enough in this beautiful property! We can't wait to book again!!! "
