"Booked this hotel for a weekend due to location to Watkin Path. Staff so kind & helpful, Rooms clean & tidy with ensuite bathrooms including baths in two out of 3 rooms booked. Use of lift to rooms. Breakfast selection plentiful and hot, evening meals superb & well priced. Hotel also offers a cool room to store food & drinks for your climb, as well as offering a snack pack to buy for your day out. The Goat Hotel is based in Beddgelert & walking distance to amenities. "This is a lovely hotel that has been converted from opd miner's cottages into modern rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean although a little on the small side if you have a lot of luggage. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the town and the bus stop outside is handy for the sherpa bus. Unfortunately the lake view is now almost obscured by trees across the road. Amy was very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and is always available. I would definitely recommend this...

"What an amazing place this is!! Not only is the setting beautiful, the rooms are spotless and spacious but most of all the staff are just fabulous!! We travelled as a family to stay whilst my 11 yr old son completed the National 3 peaks and they were judt amazing with him! They made a fuss and were so wonderfully welcoming!! We will most definitely return soon ❤️ "

"The owner was very welcoming, gave great dining suggestions, and the staff were also friendly. We were in a bit of a pickle regarding laundry and they were able to remedy that! Room was large and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again!"

"Everything great apart from room temperature lack of ventilation.windows did not open enough. Were given a small table fan which didn't help much. So had two uncomfortable nights. No aircon but ceiling fan would have been a help."
