Front desk staff are very friendly and more responsive but housekeeping is terribly inconsistent - room wasn't even fully clean up on arrival, and there were stains on carpet and chair. But bed is very nice with excellent linens and blankets. NOT soundproof rooms. Over-the-top breakfast works for those who want a giant breakfast. "Historic hotel in busy square in the center of town. Super convenient location. Got big room on the top floor. Very comfortable bed. "

"Hotel is in desperate need of a FULL renovation, rooms are small and almost none amenities, breakfast was poor and served in a box. We stayed at room 305, the door dint close completely and we can see the light from the hallway it was disturbing to sleep. If you want to charge your mobile devices there was only one electric plug. No AC and during a hot summer night it was hard to sleep. Basically the only good thing is the location."

"The check in was a bit confusing. There were no staff at the pool or service at all at the pool. It was a trek to the bar and tiu had to carry your drinks on a tray down stairs and in the lift !! Mojito was not right, not enough sugar or lime. Pillows in the bedroom were too big and we couldn't get the tv to work. There seemed to be an absence of staff. Not great coffee at breakfast, it tasted like nescafe. "
