"I cant praise this hotel enough. The location is fantastic, its in a sort of square where there are restaurants and a busker entertaining diners. Its a beautiful area. The street its on is lovely and great for shopping. Its well placed for Sao Bento station and the riverside. Breakfast is fantastic and you can help yourself during the day to pastel de nata and port! The staff are lovely. There is a lovely bar in the evening and lovely restaurants close by. I loved Porto and would go back to...

"Hotel is in desperate need of a FULL renovation, rooms are small and almost none amenities, breakfast was poor and served in a box. We stayed at room 305, the door dint close completely and we can see the light from the hallway it was disturbing to sleep. If you want to charge your mobile devices there was only one electric plug. No AC and during a hot summer night it was hard to sleep. Basically the only good thing is the location."

"Lovely, quirky hotel with bags of character, friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms, and good value. Location is slightly against it, though, as it's just a bit too far out of the centre to pop back once you've gone out for the day, although taxis and Ubers are available and not too expensive."

"Right in central waterfront district. My room on Main Street was unbearably noisy but they happily changed my room. Again clean, great showers, nice staff. Hard mattresses. "
