"Had room 406 on the top floor with a sea view and plenty of space. Reasonably quite room with minimal noise from vehicles in the street. Good views out to sea. The floor slightly slopes in parts. Breakfast was included and provided a good range of food. At times it was very busy and there were the occasional short delays whilst items were re-stocked. We ate dinner in the Braserie 3 times and it was good quality. Would recommend the Empress."

"Lovely hotel looking out on a beautiful and quaint community square. Lots of outdoor sitting and dining space. The cast Rushen is right out the back door and worth the price of admission. "

"This is a great hotel on the Prom and only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. The bed was wonderful and bathroom was nice and big. Included breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip! Top choice for our next trip to Douglas!!"

"Guests are very well catered for. Great facilities, very clean, super friendly staff. Breakfast delicious. Note, restaurant/room service not always available if the restaurant is quiet and closes early, however staff still go above and beyond to ensure you can get something to eat e.g. sandwich. Generous complimentary mini-fridge. Comfortable bed with very good quality bedding. Very important, so worth repeating that it's very clean, the housekeeping team do a great job. Parking a bit of a pain but the multi story car park is less than 5 mins walk. We'll be back."

Tim and Claire at the front desk were great and the staff serving drink and food were very accommodating and kind. I would highly recommend staying there again and probably will do it again myself, given the opportunity. "
