"We really enjoyed our stay here, the cottage was cosy and done out beautifully. Warmed up quickly when we put the heating on, everything we needed was there, milk left in the fridge and essentials in the bathroom, clear instructions left too. "Property was lovely and spacious, bathrooms could do with either un upgrade or deep clean but were functional and plenty hot water. We didnt use cooking facilities etc, just really bed and sitting rooms, but all were comfortable. Parking on the street is a bit of a challenge as its so narrow but is available. Great wee pub at the end of the street. And plenty of takeaways deliver."

"We had a fantastic family holiday here. The house was very comfortable and clean and well appointed. Our grandson particularly appreciated the Brio Train Set and all the Lego....not to mention the Tarzan Swing along the lane. Our welcome pack was the best I have ever had. The situation is just beautiful and for us, just perfect for visiting our family in Barry. Only thing to flag up, as we arrived in the dark, we were looking for the Yellow Grit Bin, which isn't there now!!!! It didn't matter...

"The property (inside and out) was spotlessly clean and very well presented with very tasteful decor. Fixtures and fittings were of good quality and the kitchen, bed and particularly the shower were excellent. A nice touch was the fire which was 'ready to light' with extra wood supplied too. Road parking was adjacent to the house. A local shop and Chinese takeaway were 2 minutes walk away. The stairs are very steep if you struggle with mobility, but a beautiful feature of the house. "We had a great time at Riverside Cottage. It was clean, tidy and spacious, we enjoyed the views on the balcony overlooking the mountains. It had everything needed for a 4 day stay, but I would have stayed longer if possible next time. Recommend the local Pen Pych Mountain and 4 waterfalls walk. There is quite a lot within a 20-30 minute drive. Would recommend and hopefully be back soon, thank you"

"The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with little to no outside noise to disrupt sleep. Reception isn’t open on weekends but there was great communication from staff giving me information of how to access anything I needed. It’s a walkable distance into the town centre, Castle and Cardiff Central station, therefore offering places nearby to get any food, shopping etc. "

"This was way better than even expected. Incredible hotel, service, food and amenities. We stayed for our 10 year wedding anniversary and they made it extra special for us. Pros: - Incredible theming throughout. - Incredible food at the BLOC restaurant. - Incredible SPA. - Incredible Breakfast. - Incredible Room. - Incredible Staff. - Incredible Service. Cons: - Bed was rather hard - No Air Con in room and rather warm Other: - The hotel is located in the middle of a new build housing estate but it's truly like an oasis and once your inside you won't even care nor notice that fact. We will be coming back, it was one of the best mini-breaks we have had. "
