"The location and view were perfect for a Point Pelee National Park birding weekend for first time visitors to Canada from Midwest USA. The property was nestled right on Lake Eerie. The sounds of the water and the views of the sunset were a treat! Much to our surprise our visit corresponded with May Fly season. We appreciated the fly swatter, but could have used a broom as well. The kitchen and bathroom were adequately supplied for our needs, however we could have used a few more wash cloths. Our only concern for future visitors would be the beds. As three petite women we found the beds a bit unstable. If our husbands would have been joining us we aren’t sure if the beds would have supported the weight of two people. Overall our stay was enjoyable, relaxing and would love to visit again! "

"Let me just start of by saying that Jennifer is an amazing host! Prior to arrival, the answered all our questions and assured us of any concerns. Once we arrived, we unfortunately had a bit of a plumbing issue in the bathroom which she quickly resolved — within two hours in fact! Her prompt responses and support made our stay all the more enjoyable.CJ’s Lakehouse itself is a gorgeous property. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and the living & dining areas feel like you’re right at home. I am also a room decor fanatic, and loved the aesthetic of the Lakehouse! Do be warned, the bedrooms got a bit hot because there is just a window AC located in the kitchen. It does sound a bit loud (especially in the quiet of the night), so I recommend you run it all day if you are light sleepers! We found it a bit challenging to enjoy the outdoors because of the harsh waves from Lake Erie and the multitude of mosquitoes we encountered, but CJ’s Lakehouse is just a short distance away from other fun stuff. We ended up spontaneously going to Windsor for the day!Overall, I would highly recommend CJ’s Lakehouse to someone wanting a getaway from the craziness of busy city life!"

"Cozy little cabin right on the beach. We didn't get to spend much time outside due to weather, but they did have a lot of activities available to enjoy. We enjoyed that they had a pass for us to use to go to Point Pelee park. "

"This is my second time at this house. The house is beautiful and clean, everything you need is there. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset. Parks and beaches within biking or walking distance. A lot of nice local restaurants."

"Property was excellent. Thought of everything right up to the dog treats. We would definitely come again.Only one thing to improve upon. Extra set of towels would have been nice. Although we were able to wash the set we had. Thanks again "
