"Wow!! What a fabulous surprise! We had booked the Carmel Mission Inn just for 1 night as a quick stop while heading north, but boy do I regret only staying for 1 night. I wish we could have stayed additional nights. We loved the hotel’s style & mid-century modern vibes! Our room was spacious & very comfortable. While we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the pool nor the outdoor fire pits areas, both areas looked really welcoming. We also ate dinner in the restaurant. The food, service & live music were all top notch. I would highly recommend the Carmel Mission Inn!"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a wonderful stay celebrating my 40th birthday with a group of girlfriends! The home was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The bedrooms were spacious, the backyard was adorable and perfect for relaxing together, and the overall vibe of the house made for such a fun weekend.Only small note for future guests: there are two addresses associated with the property, and even our Lyft drivers had trouble finding us at first. Be sure to enter the Aspen Pl address into Google Maps for the best directions.Would absolutely stay here again!"

"This was an odd experience for us. When we booked this ‘resort’, the pictures and property details made it seem like this would be a luxury experience. We had an expectation that this would be a chance to unwind, order room service, etc. While the staff was wonderful, our expectations of the property and amenities were not met. The apartment we stayed in was big but was decorated like a timeshare and not stocked with any towels, the hot tubs were dirty, there was no room service or vegetarian options at the restaurant, and we found ourselves wishing we had stayed somewhere else. "

"Amazing hotel!!! The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The only thing is that there is no A/C since the property is older so keep that in mind BUT they do have fans to give you if needed. But they were amazing, bed was comfy and great views"

"We had an amazing time here. The property and views are the perfect way to enjoy the location and it’s perfectly situated to visit Carmel, Monterey, and BiG Sur. We rested well and needed nothing except groceries while here. Everything was carefully considered and appointed. Thank you for the hospitality! "

"The Acorn was the perfect place to gather with our 3-generational family. Plenty of room to enjoy each other and the spectacular ocean views, animals and wildlife. We walked across the street to Pt Lobos State Park for exceptional hikes and to play on Monastery Beach. We cooked several delicious meals in the generously stocked kitchen. And slept great in the comfy beds. Mark responded quickly to a minor concern."
