"The location of the Sheraton was terrific except for the fact that a marathon was being run on the access road to the hotel on the day we had to leave for Valparaiso and did not know this ahead of time. We had to allow extra time as all the traffic was rerouted away from the main throughfare, had to take a golf cart then drag our luggage across the race route to get to the taxi. The hotel is looking its age, needs a revamp to get rid of old battered fruniture and replace carpets Yhe indoor pool...

"Clean room, comfortable bed, fantastic views. The pool was very nice and we very much enjoyed the jacuzzi. Most of the staff was very friendly. They were over 40 minutes late both days with breakfast which was included with our stay. There was also a problem with being overcharged by the hotel but it was resolved quickly."

"Well maintained hotel. Very helpful staff. Good choices at breakfast. Located a short walk from the sea front and a wide choice of restaurants. Bus stop to Valparaiso close to front door. "My family slept comfortably in a suite with 1 queen, 2 twin beds, and a a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. The hostel has a very welcoming and warm feel to it. The common area has a fully functioning kitchen and access to fridges that you can store food in. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend!"

Lovely hotel in great location in beautiful city
"This is an excellent location of the city in a very beautiful city. Our room had an excellent terrace with a view. It is a shared terrace with the next room, but it was private since nobody was occupying the other room. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant downstairs were very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is sumptuous. The beds are very comfortable and entire facility is very clean and well maintained. Only thing they should add to their description is the location being next to the ascensor Concepcion. It is a great way to go up and down the hills, especially with luggage. First day, not knowing it, we used the stairs and uphill slopes to reach the hotel from the bus stop. "
