"It was our first trip to Cancun. I was not sure between the all inclusive and regular hotel. Finally We decided to go with El taj. So glad that we did. Such a clean and nice condo hotel. We had ocean view with a private spa in the balcony. The hotel was even better than the pictures. My 2 teenagers loved it. The location is perfect. Close to the fifth st which is live all night with cute shops. I have recommended this hotel to all my friends and families. We will come back again next year"

"Overall, my family and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, room service was excellent, and there were plenty of great food options and fine dining restaurants. The entertainment was well thought out—not just for kids, but for adults too. The beach was beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds and a large sandy area that our kids loved. There were lots of activities available throughout the day and into the evening. However, we did experience two downsides. First, the pool temperature became too warm by the end of the day, making it less refreshing. At times, the pool was also not as clean as expected. Second, the ocean conditions were disappointing—there was an overwhelming amount of seaweed, the water was not the clear turquoise we had hoped for, and there was a very unpleasant smell. While the staff did their best to clean the beach, it would have been helpful to be informed about the ocean conditions in advance, especially since swimming in the ocean was one of the main reasons we chose this destination. In light of that, it might be fair to adjust the price accordingly."

"Let’s starts with Sebastian, best bartender around. Carried a conversation with us for two days straight about Playa. Served up awesome cocktails and by far the best asset to this resort. Find him to be your bartender. Rooms were very nice beds comfy. If you have the standard room, you want to be in room 410-422 for a surprise! Wish Off the Hook was open to try but next time! Food was fantastic for what we had time for.. Mexican restaurant was decent but make sure you get to the Italian restaurant, Wow was our food amazing there! Pool was nice, but the food hideout is at the beach bar! Check it out! "
