"Friendly customer service-nice and cleaned room. Breakfast was good! Location is perfect to the ICON Park. A lot of walking distance restaurants. I throughly enjoyed my stay. Will book again stay at the Maihana. "

"The rooms are remodeled. I was in a king bed room. Half of the room is wasted space with one small accent chair. Why not put a small sofa bed there to maximize the space and allows for someone else to stay in the room. Bed was comfortable. However, the pillows are a 12x12 lumpy square. I asked if they had any standard size pillows and the front desk said they do not. Not sure whose idea it was to have adults use a toddler size pillow, but they are very difficult to sleep with. Bring your own!!! There is no safe in the room. So beware!! My wallet ended up missing and I never took it out of the room. I only took a credit card with me and put it in my pocket. Location is great. Takes only a couple minutes to walk over to ICON park where there are tons of shops, food, and rides. For the price, it's worth it. Just bring your own pillow and safe."

"The rooms are not great. -the air conditioning works but the room was quite humid and had a musty smell. This was despite the fact that the outside humidity was lower than average for the whole week we were there. -the lights in the room are terrible. They are all the worst, harshest type of fluorescent (ultra bright white), which messes with your sleep because of the high blue-light content. They need soft white lights bedside at least. -the floors in the room are hard plastic making the room echo-ey and industrial feeling. Not homey at all. -price did not match quality, unfortunately. The swim meets next door at Rosen Centre mean you’re paying for convenience, not for a nice hotel. "

"The person check-in the guests needed help. I waited over 40min in line to check in at around 11:30pm. The seats in the lobby are very very dirty. The whole hotel needs a full reno. I cannot believe they have the raiting they have and that it carries the Hilton name on it. It is more like a motel. The water in the shower was constantly leaking while closed. After a terrible stay in our room we went to have breakfast. The eggs were basically water, the orange juice was out, the waffle station was dirty to say the least. On top of everything the lady taking care of the area was extremely rude and did not allow my 6 year old daughter come get her plate from me. I have to explain over and over again that i needed help carrying the stuff to the table and that my daughter was going to help. The parking lot needs major cleaning. This hotel should close for a while renovate and get new staff. We stay in Hiltons almost every weekend as my kids compete in sports. This is by far a horrible experience. "
