"Look if you stay here during cold weather, and really want to stay in an OLD place, that used to be a retirement home, that really hasn’t been properly adapted for a hotel,,, this would be the place for you.. Staff is excellent,, continental breakfast is just that, grab and go.. but everything healthy.. We stayed two nights, in town for a family funeral,,, The room was massively hot.. Tiny window a/c unit, not properly installed, air leaking out of crevices around unit.. and all the buttons were messed up.. Ceiling fan helped circulate the air around bed, but don’t turn on lights.. The bathroom was old and painted over “ Not Nostalgic “. Bathroom widow would not close, much less lock, which would allow somebody to climb up and easily enter room.. And that great little window allowed lots of hot air in, which added to room heat. So why did we suffer for two nights, and a full day, because it was all non refundable. Room change would do no good, because all rooms were the same as far as amenities.. Really Bad. Honestly for what you pay there are way better options, unless you really have to be downtown where nothing is going on anyway, and you can use the room as a sauna. So many little things that could be done to make this a much better place. Lived in St. Cloud 31 years, happy I never had to stay, or have somebody else stay at Hunter Arms Hotel.. Definitely will NOT happen again.."

"I have been a guest at Park Royal Orlando for 3 nights/week since the beginning of February 2026 until this current stay. I work 3 consecutive night shifts as a respiratory therapist at the nearby medical center and I am involved in a lot of critical care situations. I chose Park Royal Orlando for several reasons; close proximity to the hospital, decent amenities, and good value. However, during the 54 days that I have stayed there, I have experienced several occasions when there was (1) no hot water available to take a shower; (2) air conditioners did not function properly, and (3) my room was located near loud adults and children. When I voiced my concerns to the front desk, promises were made to remedy the situation (especially regarding the lack of hot water and poorly functioning air conditioners) overnight while I was working in the hospital between the hours of 7PM and 7AM, and I was promised that I would be updated via my mobile phone, but when I returned to the hotel the following morning after my hospital shifts, nothing was done and the morning staff was unaware of my reported issues. The female manager even raised her voice to me and said some things that a person in her position should not say. As a result, I stopped going to this hotel, and I will not consider ever going back to this hotel unless this female manager is no longer working there. I will also not recommend that anybody goes to this hotel hotel due to the poor maintenance of their amenities."
