"I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and was very pleased with it then so when I was returning to Rome I booked the same hotel. My daughter and I were very pleased once again. I e-mailed the hotel with some questions before arriving and they were prompt to answer and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent, the rooms are not large but very clean and modern, and the people at the desk so friendly and helpful. I also like the location as it is just a few minutes walk from Rome Termini-the main train and Metro station. There are also multiple nice restaurants with outdoor seating very nearby. Our flight from the States got in quite early in the morning and so we arrived very early at the hotel. They said they would try to get us in before the 2PM check-in time but couldn’t promise as the hotel had been very full. We returned to the hotel before 11 AM not expecting to get into our room yet but they had it ready for us!"

"Centrally located in Rome next to the Basicilica Santa Maria Maggiore. Very spacious room. Comfortable bed. Maintenance could be a tad better. Outlet next to the night stand didn’t work and the light flickered, and the conditioner was just shampoo. Staff were nice and responsive. They booked us a taxi for 70 euros to FCO. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and air conditioned. Overall definitely recommend. Great value, room, and location."

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Major Hotel in Rome! From the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and was the perfect place to come back to after a long day exploring the city. One of the biggest highlights was the rooftop breakfast. Starting the morning up there with the views over Rome was such a great experience, and the breakfast itself was excellent. It really added something special to our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the hotel was very clean, and everything felt well taken care of. We also really appreciated all of the amenities and services the hotel offered—it had everything we needed and made our time in Rome so much more comfortable. Between the rooftop, the breakfast, the location, the rooms, and the overall atmosphere, we honestly couldn't have asked for a better stay. The Major was one of the highlights of our time in Rome, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!"
