"This is a beautiful, private place. Wonderful service, food, accommodations. The owner is great at connecting you with day trips and transportation. It is not near anything that you can access without a car or transportation but it worked great for us to see the James Bond Island and area in a perfect private day tour arranged for us."

"My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. Perhaps the absence of high end...

"My cousin was getting married at the Akyra! We stayed there for 5 days. The all inclusive was well worth it! It included food, drinks and a massage each day! The massages were great, professional, relaxing. The food here is amazing, everything tasted so fresh. The staff was awesome and extremely kind. The beach had the perfect amount of breeze, was clean, and not overpopulated. Thank you Akyra! Our stay was amazing!"

"Walking distance to beach but no access to beach chairs with no shade at beach. Resort nice pool and massage on site. There was issues with room requested one queen bed did not get got two twins instead did not say anything. My complaint about property was the manager the room was extremely hot and manager would not allow another key to improve this and stated she is saving the environment which I corrected this is not saving environment saving money only. There’s a very small mini mart 2 mins up the road but otherwise not a lot within walking distance. The staff keep the beach in front of the resort clean, but if you walk further up the beach in each direction there is lots of trash which is such a shame and does ruin the tranquil vibe. "It's position right on the beautiful Memories beach. The only thing I would say, maybe change the breakfast from day to day a little bit. We had 6days days of the same, it was all lovely and tasty but some changes would be welcome"
