"Outside of the hotel doesn’t look that promising but inside it was immaculately clean & I loved my room on the eleventh floor with panoramic view of the city (prettier at night!). Kettle, fridge, iron & toiletries provided. Gym was small but more than adequate. Pool was lovely although sadly the sun didn’t shine. Mall next door was an added bonus. Food outlets, a supermarket and a pharmacy. Approx 25 mins from airport depending on traffic & IDR 140,000 with tolls etc. Perfect for a stopover between flights. Thank you. "

"I chose this hotel primarily because of its excellent reviews and its convenient location. However, there were several issues during our stay that affected our overall experience. During breakfast, the restaurant was very crowded and we had to wait approximately 15 minutes for a table. When we were eventually seated, the table had not been properly cleaned, despite being directed to it by staff. We also visited the spa as we were quite tired. Unfortunately, the therapist who attended to me was coughing throughout the massage and did not apologise, which made the experience uncomfortable. Given the premium pricing and the hotel’s five-star standard, we had expected a higher level of professionalism. The most concerning incident occurred in the evening. When we returned to the hotel at around 9:30 pm, we found our room door unlocked. This was extremely distressing for us. We immediately contacted the manager. We were later informed that housekeeping had left the door open while removing items after cleaning. Although we appreciated the explanation and the complimentary airport transfer offered the next day, the incident left us feeling unsettled and we did not sleep well that night. While we understand that it was Chinese New Year and the hotel was operating at full capacity, room security should never be compromised. We still value the hotel location and consider staying again in the future. We hope that our feedback will be taken constructively to improve the guest stay."

"Room in good condition but the reception staff probably training on the job. Asked for a wake up call at 6.30 AM - no one called. Overall the staff needs more training to handle international guests. "

"We had a very good experience with the team at the Fairfield Marriott. They were really helpful when we arrived in Jakarta airport even sending the shuttle bus to pick us up. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am and even though we were expecting not to get to a room straight away the team got a room ready quickly for us. Also the cafe team gave us a very tasty coffee while we waited for our room to be ready. After getting to the room we were able to catch up on our sleep, but when we woke we found that we had a message from the airline saying that our next flight was delayed by 24 hours. So the team from the hotel took us back to the airport and we were able to reschedule our flights and make it to our destination. The team were always smiling and pleasant to deal with a credit to the hotel."
