"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fell View. It sits high on a hillside and has an incredible view looking over the mountains to the south in the Lake District. You can sit on the front porch and just enjoy the vista! There is also a nice backyard which we didn't get to use. A friend in Manchester had suggested that we had done better if we had booked in Keswick or similar, but we ended up loving being in Penrith. "We really enjoyed staying here, lots of room, nicely updated house, all the amenities that we could need were available, and incredibly nice host! So close to the Lake District, easy to get to the hikes and lakes and cute little villages. Loved staying here and would definitely stay again when we come back. "
