Island Blue Hotel
3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (20)
"Rooms were of high quality, beds fairly comfortable. AC could have worked better, but did the trick. Great shower pressure. Only a shampoo/body wash combined mix so make sure to bring any lotion, conditioner, etc. Staff were friendly and always said hi. Particularly Nicky at the check in desk :) Easy to walk to other shops and restaurants (10 min max). Felt safe walking around alone at night. No beach towels provided, or even a collateral system in place. So if you only have carry on...

Villa Alya
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (7)
"Loved the villa but had to drive in to Lindos to find restaurants each night. (We stayed in April and Pefkos was mainly closed). Pool chilly but clean. Lots of loungers. Croquet, boules and badminton equip available which was a nice touch, Villa very large and spacious. Well equipped with nice furnishings. Had trouble with the water running cold by the 4th person for showers. Upstairs shower the best as downstairs screen was too low for an adult without water going everywhere! Would stay again...

Spilia Bay Villas
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (5)
"Recently stayed at Spilia Bay Villas. The Hotels.com website and the booking infered a range of facilities that were not available on site. 1. Continental Breakfast. The website indicated that breakfast would be served in a 'cave'. There was no breakfast at all.. I spoke to the owner and he said he was unaware breakfast was indicated on the website. He got a man to bring round a plastic bag of croissants and butter...(is that a continental brakfast according to Hotels.com?) 2. Free wifi -...

Ziakis Hotel & Studios
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (6)
"Great hotel in a non-touristy part of Rhodes. It is run by an elderly couple and their adult children. The elderly couple don't speak much English, the daughter does. Ask for room 314 to get the best view of the sea. That was our room (recommended by another poster) and it was perfect - only problem is it overlooked a hotel which had loud karaoke on Friday night. With the a/c on, and the windows closed, it was not noticeable, but it was too loud that night to sit on the balcony. You need a car...
